Conditions of Participation

Electronics, Communications, and Computing Summit (ECC Summit)
Published by the Society for Communication and Computer Technologies (SCCT)

Participation in the ECC Summit requires all contributors to adhere to the following conditions, ensuring a professional, ethical, and productive environment for knowledge exchange and academic collaboration:

1. Originality and Exclusivity

  • Submitted papers must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

  • The work must not have been previously presented or published in any form, unless significantly revised and cited appropriately.

2. Author Responsibility

  • All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the research and must agree with the final version of the manuscript.

  • Authors are responsible for the accuracy of all information, data, and references contained in the submission.

3. Registration Requirement

  • At least one author of each accepted paper must register and attend the conference to present the work.

  • Registration is mandatory for inclusion in the final proceedings.

4. Presentation Obligations

  • Authors must present their work in the assigned session (oral or poster) as scheduled.

  • Failure to present without valid reason may result in exclusion from the published proceedings.

5. Compliance with Review and Publication Guidelines

  • Authors must comply with all submission guidelines, including formatting, ethical declarations, and conflict of interest disclosures.

  • Authors must respond to reviewer feedback and submit revised versions in a timely manner.

6. Copyright and Licensing

  • Upon acceptance, authors must agree to the open-access publishing license provided by SCCT, permitting free dissemination and use with proper citation.

  • Authors retain copyright but must grant SCCT the right to archive and distribute the work.

7. Code of Conduct

  • All participants are expected to behave in a professional and respectful manner throughout the event.

  • Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.

8. Withdrawal Policy

  • Manuscripts cannot be withdrawn after submission without formal written approval from the editorial office.

  • Unauthorized withdrawal after acceptance or during review will be considered a violation of participation ethics.

9. Virtual Participation 

  • In case of hybrid or virtual formats, participants must ensure a stable internet connection and actively engage during their scheduled session.


Failure to comply with the above Conditions of Participation may result in removal of the submission from the proceedings, suspension of participation rights, or future submission restrictions.
